THE JD EDWARDS BAND

JD Edwards was born and raised with a passion for music. His music is simplistic, yet so dynamic in style and melody that one might find themselves wondering if they have heard this before but never quite pinning it down. JD Edwards is based out of a small home in Osbourne Village in the heart of Winnipeg. Moving from Toronto, where people are just everywhere, JD has been taken by the wide open spaces of the prairies and perhaps has found a home away from home. When JD Edwards is not performing solo he plays with his band of musical misfits and rythm junkies. Formed in 2005 the JD Edwards Band is comprised of musicians from different backgrounds, styles and musical upbringings. However, this group shares a common goal to succeed in producing the music they love. This particular musical pot of soup has a recipe list including brilliant vocals and guitar stylings from JD Edwards, lead guitar from Mike Ormonde, sass and bass from Jessie "Poisin" Ives and an unmistakable percussion section from Matt Robins and Troy Stratner, with more ingredients soon to come. Their open musical styles offer a great opportunity for listeners to find something they love buried tastefully in their well crafted original song writing. With a constant flow of new material and a debut release planned for the near future, The JD Edwards Band is looking forward to making a major splash in the Canadian music scene.
